Portia has set up a joint venture Company (Beirut container Terminal Company) to manage and operate the premier container terminal in Lebanon.

Portia are providing the senior management on the terminal and are also advising on the installation of a computerised terminal handling system.

Training of Lebanese staff to enable them to become fully cognisant in the management and operation of a modern container terminal is also being undertaken.
