Managing Safely is the market-leading health and safety course for line managers and is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). It is designed to provide managers with the knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm to apply good health and safety practices in the workplace.
Our Managing Safely course contains the standard IOSH format + elements tailored for managers in the ports and terminals sector.
This Managing Safely course will help people understand and improve the safety awareness culture in their organisation, see their productivity increase, and enhance their reputation within the supply chain.
The Managing Safely course is 4 days in duration followed by an assessment at the end of the course. Delegates need to pass this assessment to gain certification.
There are no prerequisites or prior health and safety knowledge required to attend this course and it is aimed at managers and supervisors in the ports industry. It offers step-by-step guidance with a sharp business focus.
The end-of-course assessment is via multi-format questions and a practical risk assessment project.
An IOSH Managing Safely certificate will be awarded to successful candidates.
Maximum attendees per course is 12. If you have a group of more than 6, the instructor may be able to conduct the course on your premises – travel and adequate facilities permitting.
