Portia acted as technical consultant on this BOT project before commencing a 3-year Operations and Maintenance contract at the terminal in Port Qasim. Portia provided support during the lead-in phase prior to commissioning and through installation and commissioning.
Portia provided key operational management at the terminal and technical specialist support including training in health, safety and security. Portia delivered mentoring training for local staff and assisted with the production of the Operations Manual which set out the procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Pakistan’s first automated grain handling terminal.
