Portia and TMT Ports are happy to announce that following a programme of extensive refurbishment, the YMEC STS Crane has been commissioned and performed well on its first vessel since Portia-KTSL took over the terminal in November 2016, delivering circa 20 moves per hour. Portia would like to thank Victor Lajva its Engineering Manager for his contribution. Victor in turn paid tribute to his team and said that he was proud their efforts and that he thought this was a significant step forward for TMT Ports. Wayne Biggs Portia’s Terminal Manager echoed these sentiments and highlighted the fact that this meant that TMT Ports could now offer more flexibility and more consistency to its clients.
