Portia was pleased to attend the UKEF Trade and Export Finance Forum held today at the Intercontinental Hotel O2 and attended by circa 800 delegates.
During the morning sessions, Portia learned more about what support UKEF can deliver and during the afternoon breakout sessions met UKEF Heads of Country from a range of countries representing a range of regions around the globe including Far East (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos), Central America (Dominican Republic) and Middle East (Qatar).
The breakout sessions also focused on the key sectors that these regions and countries are prioritising and how UKEF are supporting them.
Portia met a range of interesting delegates, and caught up with some familiar “faces” from the port sector during the networking sessions. Portia will be following these connections up over the coming weeks.
