Myanmar Undertaking Load Testing

Last week saw TMT Ports in Yangon, Myanmar undertaking Load Testing on the CC2 the ZPMC STS Crane. The Engineering and Operations teams at Portia’s partners are shown on the quayside following the successful completion of this procedure; the load testing under the hook was confirmed at 45.9 tonnes.

Myanmar Trade Delegation Visits Portia and the Port of Liverpool

Portia’s Senior Engineer Welcomes the Arrival of the Final 6 CRMGs

The final 6 CRMGs have now arrived at T2. After overseeing their build, commissioning and loading over in Nantong, Portia’s Senior Engineer Richard Cheetham snr was on the quay edge to welcome them to Liverpool. Last batch of CRMG cranes arrive in River Mersey for Liverpool 2 Container Terminal

Portia’s Senior Engineer has been working closely with Peel Ports as the second batch of six cantilever rail-mounted gantry (CRMG) cranes arrived in the River Mersey on Thursday 6 October ready for installing and commissioning at the £400 million Liverpool2 deep-water container terminal.
