Portia attended the networking event held today by the Liverpool City Region (LCR) for a trade delegation from Romania. The visiting party was led by Bogdan Mindrescu (Secretary of State, Ministry of Transport) and Her Excellency Laura Popescu (Romanian Ambassador to U.K.) and was comprised of Transport and Maritime professionals from the Constanta Port community.
The delegation had a full day, comprised of a fact-finding visit to the Port of Liverpool hosted by Peel Ports and then an afternoon of presentations and networking at No.1 Mann Island on the Liverpool waterfront.
The event was supported by Mersey Maritime and LCR Freeport who along with LCR Innovation and the Port of Constanta delivered a range of interesting presentations.
Productive networking discussions took place and Portia made a number of exciting connections with colleagues from the Constanta Port sector and will continue these dialogues going forward.
