Portia hosts Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) Security Training.
The second week of a 2-week training programme for delegates from KPA was successfully concluded this afternoon when the KPA delegates completed a programme of security courses delivered by Portia’s partners at the Liverpool & Manchester Port Security Authority (LMPSA) in the Port of Liverpool.
This week’s programme included a 1-day First Aid at Work Course and a 4-day bespoke Security / ISPS Course encompassing a range of work-based learning periods across a variety of port locations.
Jon Lumberg the Lead Trainer (Lead Compliance Officer and PFSO Port of Liverpool & Manchester Ship Canal) said “Thanks again to all the delegates for their whole-hearted participation, there were some really interesting points raised by the delegates over what has been a rewarding week all round.”
Martin Humphreys, Port Security Officer at LMPSA re-iterated “It has been a really good week and through the interaction with the delegates it has been a learning experience for both myself and my team.”
Portia’s General Manager, Colin Jones said “Many thanks to Martin, Jon and the team at the LMPSA, I know how much the KPA delegates have enjoyed the bespoke Security Training Course that was delivered this week.”
Portia will continue to promote our partnership with the KPA by coordinating with the KPA Training Department to develop future training courses.
