This week, Portia attended the latest PSS Innovation in Ports Conference and the Port Safety Group (PSG) meeting in Belfast hosted by Belfast Harbour Commissioners (BHC) in the beautiful BHC Office.
Both the events were well attended and members were treated to a full programme of interesting presentations on innovations followed by a trip on and on the Electric Hydrofoil Workboat (EFoiler propulsion) developed by Artemis Technologies. On the PSG day there was an interactive workshop which covered all aspects of safety management and informative boat tour of the Port of Belfast hosted by BHC.
Thanks to Debbie, Jen and Angela and the rest of the PSS team along with the Belfast Harbour Commission and all participants and companies presenting for an extremely interesting and thought-provoking two days.
