This week, Portia Management Services and Peel Ports hosted a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The group comprised of officials from a number of Government agencies including Economic Cities Authority (ECA), Saudi Customs and Border Guard. They were accompanied by senior representatives from National Container Terminals, Ports Development Company and AM Steel, three private companies working in King Abdullah Port in KSA. This was a fact-finding mission focused on customs, security and port operations in general. On arrival, the party were greeted by Mark Whitworth, CEO of Peel Ports Group before being given a number of interesting presentations and then being taken on a port tour focused around the L2 Container Terminal.
