On 20th April 2017 Portia’s partner in the Khalifa Bin Salman Port in Bahrain, MMETCo presented a MIME act with the theme of “24/7 Safe” as part of APMT’s celebration of Global Safety Day. The topics covered included:
1. Early Morning life of employees
• Start your day healthy and with positive thoughts
2. Toolbox Talk & Forklift Safety
• Pay attention while attending toolbox Talk before starting your work
• Don’t use mobile phone while operating equipment
3. Working at height safety
• Always use full body harness while working at height
4. Child Safety – Burn Injury
• Watch your child at home, keep hot appliances safely.
5. Child Safety – Electrocution
• Keep electrical appliances out of reach of children
6. Evening life of employees
• Avoid alcohol; be a good family man and a role model for the society
