Dr. Martin Longden the new Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Beirut visited the BCTC Terminal last Friday and was positive about this Lebanese-UK success story. Dr. Longden posted a video on Twitter and said “Up a crane (!) at the port of Beirut today with BCTC, a joint British and Lebanese venture, hearing extraordinary tales of heroism and commitment to restart port operations just days after the terrible explosion in August. Yet another example of the incredible country, and people, of Lebanon!
