Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) Pilot Training.
This 10-day training programme was completed yesterday at the Liverpool Pilots Simulator Facility at Woodside. Over the last 2-weeks, the KPA Pilots have successfully undertaken 3-days of operational exercises using Bridge Simulators along with an MCA accredited Human Element, Leadership and Management Course (HELM) and an RYA accredited Marine Radio Operators Course.
Portia’s General Manager Colin Jones said “Thanks again to our partners at John Percival Marine and Liverpool Pilots. It has been great to host the KPA personnel after such a long absence. I know that the KPA Pilots have found the training really valuable and see this as another stage in their personal development. I am also delighted to hear they have enjoyed their time in the great maritime city of Liverpool. Portia are now looking forwards to hosting the KPA on future courses.”
