Coastlink Conference 2023
Portia thoroughly enjoyed attending the Coastlink Conference 2023 held over 2-days (3rd–4th May) at the iconic Liver Building on the Liverpool Waterfront. Peel Ports hosted the event exceptionally well and even managed to coincide it with the call of the Queen Mary 2 cruise vessel. This was a conference that taught Portia a lot about the challenges facing the coastal shipping sector, the ever-growing awareness of the need for de-carbonisation and the projects that stakeholders from all sectors are developing to drive this forwards. Best wishes to the Port of Amsterdam who will be hosting the Coastlink Conference in 2024.
