Portia have hosted a delegation from Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone, China in Liverpool City Centre. Portia held a Workshop with the 19-strong delegation who are on a fact-finding mission to the U.K and focussed on understanding more about U.K. port models, PPPs’, free trade zones and port logistics.
Portia delivered a presentation which touched on the Port of Liverpool, historical and modern developments, Portia’s capabilities in consulting and management and operations and finished with a high-level overview of free trade zones. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session with a panel consisting of Colin Jones, Conor McGreevy and Richard Willis representing Portia.
Mr Ding Tao, the leader of the delegation and Deputy Director of the Integrated Service Center of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone exchanged gifts with Colin Jones, Portia’s General Manager and invited Portia to meet him and his team in China to discuss future opportunities.
