Portia are part the JV company National Port Services (NPS) that has won the contract to provide marine services at King Fahad Industrial Port in Jubail, Jubail Commercial Port, and Ras Az Zawr Port in Saudi Arabia.
The contract, which started in March 2010, runs for 10 years, and covers the provision of the following services: Pilotage and Tugging Services, Maintenance of Marine Crafts, Maintenance and Cleaning of Marine Facilities, Control Tower Operations.
Other Marine responsibilities include Marine Rescue Services, Marine Hydrographic Surveys, Diving and Underwater Works, Operating and Maintaining Aids for Navigation, Pollution and Petrochemical Spills Control and Fire-Fighting, Floating Crane Operations and Services, ISPS, ASCW, and VTS Training/Certification and Vessel Dry Docking Services.
