Chris has more than 30 years’ professional experience of business development in the maritime industry. Early career experience in liner shipping, sea and river ports; ship broking and forwarding. Latterly, after having worked as Director of Business Development for one of the largest Global Terminal Operators, Chris has specialised in new port developments projects in terminals handling containers, multipurpose and ro-ro cargoes by road and rail; Going concerns, Greenfield and Brownfield development sites. Chris is at ease collaborating with governments, port authorities, global port operators, shipping lines and other port users, contractors and investors, both in advanced and particularly developing countries.

Chris has been involved in the management of numerous major new development projects; strategic and business planning, feasibility studies; bid co-ordination, public tender preparation, submissions, concession agreement negotiations.  Chris has performed many due diligence, business case studies and project viability reviews and, advised on tenders, transactions, BOT concessions.  Senior role in major Public Private Partnership tender processes and has led and worked in multi-discipline/multi-cultural teams in both English and French.
