Portia provided O&M support to its local partner Gangavaram Port Limited who were awarded a long-term concession to develop and operate this new port under a PPP agreement between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and a local businessman. During Phase I, which involved a 5-berth development of bulk coal, iron ore and break-bulk terminals and was Ma in autumn 2008, Portia provided technical assistance in operations, training and engineering, including training for Equipment Operators and mentoring for Engineering Management.
