Portia have attended the Capital Cities Business Forum in Bulgaria’s Black Sea Port City of Varna.
Portia’s visit was organised in conjunction with Peter Ivanov, the Senior Commercial Officer at the British Embassy in Sofia and the event was focused on the development of local economies and important urban centres in Bulgaria and very well attended.
Whilst Portia has long-standing historical links to the Bulgarian ports sector having undertaken projects in the ports of Varna and Rousse, we are seeking new opportunities and ways to support this sector going forwards.
The panel focused on Ports Infrastructure was of particular interest to the Portia team and led to a number of interesting follow-up meetings with a range of local port sector stakeholders.
